BRAND REPUTATION

This section is designed to help you understand how to increase Hyewon’s Brand Reputation!

Brand Reputation is a measure of an artist’s or celebrity’s popularity. Brand Reputation is important because it helps the brand, in this case Hyewon's Idol Brand, become more recognizable. This will grant her more oppotunties the more widely known she becomes.

The Brand Reputation data is essentially a value system of different brands in different categories, and the category Hyewon is in is the celebrity/idol brand. If she raises more buzz, if her Brand Reputation increases, she is more likely to be recognized by not only the public but also by potential clients and employers who would want to work with her.

Any amount of buzz, both positive and negative affect a brand's reputation, so the goal here is to keep Hyewon's Brand Reputation in a positive light.

Brand Reputation is based on data collected from four (4) different indexes. In order of the easiest to the hardest for fans to help with, those are Community Index, Participation Index, Media Index, and Communication Index. I will go into more detail for each given section. However, this is not important for you to remember.

The Media Index is measured by the media coverage a brand receives. The impact Hyewon has on media platforms can be increased by engaging with her articles. The number of articles and post written about her on these sites also help, but the easiest way for fans to increase her Media Index is by engaging with her articles.

Types of engagement are as follows: visiting, reacting, commenting, and sharing.

Look below for simple explanations of how to engage with some of the most used Korean search engines and websites.

Naver:
1. Search for Hyewon's full name and go to the news section or click here.
2. React with the first two reactions because these are generally your best bet and the safest option. The middle two should be used in the right context. And the last two are generally not used for positive articles, so use with caution if at all.
3. Recommend the article to Naver's main page.
4. Share the article to other socials and websites.

Make sure you have your own Naver account. If you don't, the sign up option will come up if you click the "I recommend this article" button. To change the language from Korean to English (or another language of your choice) click in the top right corner where it says "한국어" and select your language.

Daum:
1. Search for Hyewon's name.
2. Make sure to navigate to the news section.
